POINT PLEASANT, New Jersey (July 29, 2013) – The Golden Elks Pop Warner league is preparing for the first practice of the 2013 season on August 1 following the court’s dismissal of Point Pleasant Pirates American Youth Football and Cheer claims for football equipment. The Golden Elks Pop Warner annually brings organized football and cheerleading programs to athletes, ages 5 to 15, in the Bay Head, Brick, Lavallette, Mantoloking, Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach areas.
“The Golden Elks Pop Warner program is stronger than ever and we are excited to welcome our young athletes to  the 2013 season,” said Golden Elks Pop Warner president. “The Pop Warner experience is unparalleled, and we look forward to a fun, safe and successful season.”  In 2012 Golden Elks Pop Warner Jr. Midget Cheerleaders placed 2nd in the Nation and  the Unlimited Football Team won the Jersey Shore Championships, but due to Hurricane Sandy had to stop at the League level.
